Hi, I’m Jacob Sanders, the founder of Semi Expert. I’ve spent years in and around the trucking industry, working closely with companies and drivers who keep America moving. Along the way, I saw a real need: fleets struggling to find reliable people, and hardworking professionals who weren’t finding the right opportunities.
That’s why I launched Semi Expert Recruiting — to bring clarity, trust, and purpose to the hiring process. My approach is simple: treat people the way I’d want to be treated, honor commitments, and always aim to be a light in the process. As Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
For me, recruiting isn’t just business — it’s about relationships, integrity, and helping both companies and individuals succeed together.

The Story of Semi Expert
Semi Expert was born out of real experience in the trucking world. After years of working in and around the industry, I saw the same problem come up again and again: companies struggling to find reliable drivers, skilled mechanics, and dependable managers — and good workers feeling overlooked.
I started Semi Expert with a simple mission: to make the hiring process clearer, faster, and more purposeful. In an industry that never stops moving, we want to be a guiding light — helping companies build strong teams and helping people find work that fits their life.
This vision is rooted in a deeper truth: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). Just as light brings clarity in the dark, we believe hiring done with integrity and purpose can bring direction and stability to both businesses and individuals.
